Q: Will you seek revenge after you get elected?

Trump "It's a really tough question in one way because these are really bad people, these people are sick, and they do things that are so destructive, I mean look what they did from the day I got there, and I don't know a lot of people said we have no choice but to elect Trump Republicans because he's the only one that can withstand this. Don't forget if it weren't me they'd be going after somebody else, and I know a lot of the competition that wouldn't do so well (laugh) they wouldn't be doing so well right now. They'd be saying 'Mommy take me home, I wanna go home. This is brutal.' but these are sick people and for instance, the 51 intelligence agents, who fixes these, and they think about it just like they say I'm guilty of, and you know all this information was from so many years before the election, it was before the election..."

OK, so at this point Trump has not stated that he won't seek revenge in fact he has stated that there are a lot of bad, sick people doing destructive things. I assume he means the district attorneys, judges, prosecutors, and witnesses who brought him to trial and found him guilty. He probably wants to get revenge on the jurors as well.

How Trump Could Have Avoided His Current Situation

 George Conway on CNN May 31, 2024 "This case really does capture Donald Trump in a way...It's where he started. He's been a criminal his entire life, and he cannot help himself...you go out there and you see his son and him all claiming that they are the victims of some mastermind scheme by President Biden. I mean, it's just silly and ridiculous. And Marco Rubio should be ashamed. If you don't want to be found guilty of falsifying business records, as a felony, don't sleep with the porn star. Don't lie about it. Don't pay her off. Don't cover up the payoff. Don't cover up the payoff in the middle of a presidential campaign, where you're making a contribution, and don't grouse the guy up for taxes who you used as the frontman. If you don't want to be held liable for rape, like Donald Trump has, don't grab the woman's genitalia. If you don't want to be held liable for defaming the woman that you raped, don't keep lying about what you did and calling her a nutjob. If you don't want to be indicted for overthrowing the Constitution, don't start a self coup. If you don't want to be indicted for stealing classified documents and obstructing justice, don't take the classified documents, when the government asks for it back, give them back. If the FBI serves you with a search warrant, don't hide the documents, and don't lie about it, and don't have your lawyers lie about it. It isn't that hard."

Why would you want to run a 44-ranked president against a 17-ranked president?

They  should rename the Republican Party to the Runtrumpagain Party. Maybe they will have better luck in 2028.

 Vladimir Putin wins again after assassinating his main political rival Alexei Navalny in a tutorial for Donald Trump.

Conspiracy Theory

 Just suppose:

We know that Hamas leaders visited Russia shortly before Hamas attacked Israel. I don't know that Putin planned everything that happened but I expect he encouraged Hamas to attack Israel. He knew that Israel would have an extreme military response to such an action. He knew a war between Palestine and Israel would look bad for Biden who would have to take a stance between the two. If he supported Israel he could lose the support of Middle Eastern Americans, and if he supported Palestine he could lose the support of Jewish Americans. Having the US support two wars is expensive and they would have to choose to support both Ukraine and Israel. We are now seeing this strategy unfold as Biden is losing support from Middle Eastern Americans and Congress has refused to support Ukraine under Trump's direction. Trump has also signaled his support for Putin in both subtle and not-so-subtle ways. Trump has not commented on the assassination of Putin's rival Navalny. Trump has signaled he would dismantle NATO and would definitely not support Ukraine.

Just suppose.

Preview of Trumps Second Term

 What will a second Trump term look like?

Here are some key points:

1. Trump's most important objective will be to replace the US military leadership with Trump loyalists. Make sure the cabinet are all Trump loyalists and the justice department, vice president, etc. But really once he has loyalists installed in the military he doesn't really need anything else. 

2. Cut funding to Ukraine. This will allow Putin to install a puppet government similar to what is in Belarus. Expect Putin to seek retribution on Ukraine for defying him.

3. Dismantle NATO. Trump said he would do this and he will. This will allow Putin to take over the Baltic states. Other key targets will be Poland and Finland.

4. Seek retribution. Judges, DAs, cities, and states who defied Trump in the past will be targets. Really anyone who voted against him or said anything against him will be targeted. He has talked about weaponizing the justice department and is preparing to do just that. 

5. Trump repeals the ACA and replaces it with...nothing! This is Obama's signature legislation and Trump hates Obama. This legislature has been on his hit list since his first term.
